Whole year group at school in South Northamptonshire sent home due to Covid-19 outbreak
County school has had three confirmed cases of Covid-19 in its Year 10 group in the last week
Elizabeth Woodville School's south site, in Deanshanger, sent out a letter to parents yesterday (Tuesday) alerting them that the year 10 bubble must now self-isolate until December 17, returning to school on the final day of the term on December 18.
The letter, signed by head teacher Sharan Matharu, said that students not in the affected year bubble should continue to attend school.
The government's guidance around Covid-19 in schools says that an outbreak can be defined if a school has 'two or more confirmed cases within 14 days'.
