Mum organises Easter egg run for Northampton General Hospital in memory of eight-year-old daughter
Laura Coles’s daughter, Leaha, suffered from a rare brain disorder and received regular treatment at the hospital for a range of related health conditions.
Leaha passed away on March 26, 2015, and her mum is now organising a donation of Easter eggs for patients and staff on Easter Saturday as a way of remembering her daughter’s life.

Hide AdMs Coles is appealing for people to donate Easter eggs or any other gifts, which will be delivered by a fleet of motorcyclists travelling from Rushden to Northampton.
Ms Coles said: “We spent a lot of time in the children’s ward as Leaha suffered from a range of health issues and the staff became like a second family to us.
“My son Charlie has also spent time on Paddington ward as he was born prematurely. It is a way of giving something back to them.”
The drop-off point for donations are Sapphire Scaffolding Ltd, Cornhill Close, Lodge Farm Ind Est, Duston, Northampton, and Simpson and Weekly Estate Agents, 30 High Street, Rushden.
