Redding hits four as Nomads ease through in the Junior Cup
Kettering Nomads stormed through as they thrashed league rivals Burton United 8-0.
Mark Redding led the way with four goals while Chris Difante (2), Shaun Morris and Michael Boyle-Chong completed the rout.

But Earls Barton United went out as they were beaten 5-1 at home by Desborough Town Reserves.
In the Premier Division league action, Lewis Fisher’s goal earned Wollaston Victoria a 1-1 draw at Woodford United.
Finedon Volta dropped their first points of the season in Division One as they were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Moulton Spartak.

Warren Hebbethwaite hit a hat-trick while Luke Hadden and Lee Bruckman were also on target as Corby Strip Mills enjoyed a comfortable 5-1 victory over Brixworth.
Goals from Ben Nelson-Coles, Callum Robert and Matt Watts were not enough for Woodford Wolves as they lost 4-3 at AFC Houghton Magna.
Elsewhere, there were wins for S&L Kingswood Reserves and Weldon United as they beat Milton 2-0 and West Haddon 4-0 respectively.

Jack Plummer and Jamie White scored the other goals for Wollaston.
Second-placed Corby White Hart Locos were held to a 2-2 draw by Bugbrooke B with Sean King and Bradley Phillips on target for the Corby side while third-placed Yelvertoft were big 9-3 winners over Corby Pegasus Reserves who had Andrew Muir, Jamie Porter and Craig Richards on target.
The Kettering derby went the way of Nomads Reserves as they hammered Orchard Park 8-1.
